Who are the Friends?
We are book lovers, information seekers, readers, listeners, music and movie buffs. We are young and old, with varying interests and backgrounds. We treasure ideas and value the public library as a vital community resource. We all believe the East Troy Lions Public Library stands to serve the whole community. The Friends are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed to enhance and improve library services to its community.

The library is one block north of Main Street at the intersection of Graydon Ave. and West St

What we do:
We raise funds for variety of programs and services that benefit library users of all ages. From early childhood to adults, our programs and resources are designed to meet the needs of our community. We also support the library's collections and facilities, helping to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed.

Keep in mind that the Friends’ modest annual membership fee helps support an impressive array of services that exist only due to The Friends’ funding:

In particular, the Friends provide the funds for the Explorer Passes that allow library patrons to attend places like the Zoo and Art Museum, Wisconsin Historical Society sites, the East Troy Museum, and several other venues. ​
